Don't throw it away; reuse it!

Camping  I admit, I'm not the most organized camper. I don't think we go enough to have a system that works. This is an area that I would appreciate input.  But, camping is such a boost to the spirit and a punch in the arm to family togetherness that I can't give it up.
   HOT DOG FORK BAG
What to do with those pokey hot dog forks? Put them in a camp chair bag. It has a handle so it's easy to carry and it takes up very little room

BROKEN CAMPING CHAIR
We've had this chair forever and it's broken beyond repair. I want to reuse it for something instead of throwing it in the trash.  Here are some ideas:

1.  The bag can be used for everything from a beach bag to hold towel, water bottle, sunscreen and even a small beach umbrella, since you can just sling it over your shoulder, to holding hot dog forks (as above).  Roll up a blanket for a picnic and stuff it in!  It's a bag! Come up with something.

2.  The chair metal tubing. This is tough.  You could make wind chimes.  Use one tube as a handle for a heavy bucket (slip heavy rope through). Anybody have any ideas?

3.  The canvas chair. I had the idea to take two chairs and sandwich foam or an old blanket between and sew up the sides so you have a padded seat. If you attached rope from the "back" to the "seat", you'd have a stadium chair.  You could use the canvas to make a very strong bag, big or small.  Reuse a zipper or buttons from something else to close it.  My husband wants me to make a bag to hold our huge camping griddle so it stays clean between uses. I think I can do that.
